Cardiff Pottery Workshops Foundation, founded in 2015 in Cardiff, Wales, is a community-focused pottery studio offering classes, workshops, and memberships for all skill levels. They run programs like 'Tea and Pottery' for seniors and 'Re-Fire' to support mental health through creativity.
Problem Statement:
Cardiff Pottery has earned a strong reputation for its in-person classes but struggles to reach those unable to attend due to location or schedule constraints. To bridge this gap, they created a “pottery box” with clay, tools, and step-by-step instructions, enabling aspiring potters to enjoy pottery-making from home.
Solution:
To enhance the experience, we created a high-quality tutorial video to accompany the pottery box, offering clear guidance for users to follow at their own pace. This at-home kit and video tutorial make pottery more accessible and empower customers to create handmade objects confidently. By extending the pottery experience beyond the studio, Cardiff Pottery can reach a wider audience and nurture a growing community of pottery enthusiasts.
